Submission Guidelines

Starting in 2012, the completion of a Submission Checklist (PDF, 70KB) that signifies that authors have read this material and agree to adhere to the guidelines is now required. For new submissions, please be sure to include the submission checklist on the first page of your manuscript (and data transparency table at the end if required). Revisions do not need the checklist or table.

Manuscripts that do not conform to the submission guidelines may be returned without review.

To submit a manuscript to be considered for publication, fill out the form below and submit the information when completed. The last name and first name entered below should be those of the primary/contact author. The file should be named with the author's first initial(s) and lastname (e.g. JDLastname.rtf) and should adhere to the journal's guidelines in all respects, including file type format.

In order to permit anonymous review, all author's names, their affiliations, and contact information should be removed from the manuscript itself and included in the Submission Cover Letter field. If the authors wish to request that reviewers know their identity they should leave this information in the manuscript and provide a rationale for the request in the submission cover letter.
